Medical aid will be offered during the route and in the area
of recovery. If you suffer some disease or allergy, you must
write it down in your card of inscription.
Tent, sleeping bag to sleep in high mountain, neoprene suit,
bathing suit, life vest, googles, towel, thermal clothes,
tennis or boots or mountain type shoes or adventure race runners,
light helmet, kneepads, lenses for sun, solar protector and
mountain bicycle.
Camping
You can camp in the crater or Parque
de los venados; or arrive the day of competition no later
than 8:30 a.m.
How
to arrive at the Nevado de Toluca?
Out of México City take course to Toluca, can be by
the free road or the the quota road, when arriving to Toluca
you are going to go through a bridge and you can take the
left or the right side, both ways take to you to leave course
to Valle Bravo (Look for the signboards on the way).
Leaving Toluca the highway becomes narrower and to about 15
minutes you will find the deviation to the left towards the
Nevado de Toluca about 10 minutes later you will find an entrance
to the left to on a dirt road with a sign board that says
to Parque Natural Los Venados, you enter there and follow
the road all the way till you arrive te the crater of the
volcano, which will take another 50 minutes.
The time considered leaving from México City until
the entrance to the Natural Park of the Deer is of one hour
forty five minutes, from the entrance to the Park to the crater
of the Volcano are about 50 minutes. Anyway the people of
the zone can indicate to you as to ho to get to the Snowed
Nevado de Toluca and there are many sings indicating the way
to Toluca and the Nevado de Toluca. |
